I wouldn't have a machine capable of running it tbh, so I'll just wait for the 360 version.

well the theory is the higher you APM, the more you can do at once... now, the korean's, yeah, they can geniunely crack out 200 APM+... the rest of us just spam at the start to get a high APM, and then can hold like 50 APM tops
![]() The spam is just to scare people, if you've got a tournament and you're practicing, seeing somebody average 300+ on a replay is scarey, makes you wonder what they get up to in their spare time

I can't get close to that. I only use the mouse to play, don't know a single hotkey. Probably have to change that if I ever plan to play over the internet...
So far I have to say fun game, though. Also: Thor. Best unit ever. |

yeah thor/siege combo ruins anything us zerg's can throw at is easily, usually involves lots of macro/micro with muta's, banelings, hydra's and infestors.
Broodlords would make things easier, but i never get that far into a game against siege/thor

Was in the Beta and thought it was a pretty poor game, given that you could win quick and easy by sending a worker to build a barracks just outside your oponents base and send in quick waves of basic units to stop him before he started. Even easier with Protos - send a worker to his ramp, build a beacon thingy, then a turret, then a beacon, turret etc etc and hes a gonner. I also found that in a longer game, make one mistake - build one less worker than you need, build you vespane plant to late or too early and a good opponent will mince you. It all got very samey, very quickly multiplayer. I'll probably still buy it when it gets cheap for the solo game but wasnt impressed with the multiplay at all.

Well, if I play against people that know what they are doing, I tend to lose anyway, because I am pretty bad at this stuff. ;-) I still have fun with it, though.
